My intention was to participate in the blogging world of style, and dressing (to be correct; to learn how to dress) - but creating pictures took over the mind of a picture maker.

Mallina olo ja valmiin kuvan julkinen esittely / Being a Model and public sharing of the finished picture

I, myself am not able to model for anyone, I do not attend public saunas, I hate beaches, and doctors, so I do understand how hard it is to model. A person coming to model for me might fear they’ll feel like a disabled person in sauna with bunch of other people; you are not a human being amongst other human beings/naked among other naked, but naked alone, and a target of staring! What comes to those fears - I am an old professional artist and thus no one will experience such feelings at my presence, I will see nothing but a potential picture when I look at a person coming to have their picture taken – unless a person her/himself has some social blockings and need to be guided to look their best in public eye. I can - if asked –  of course try find the best angles through the lens of the camera. In my opinion a picture is an easy way to let people look at you:  You get to see the picture first and evaluate what the viewers might see when they look at you in it. I think it’s most horrible when someone looks at you and you cannot judge what they are looking at, and how the dullard perceives the spot of your body they are staring at! But when you take a picture (for example ) of your large nose and look at it calmly, you’ll most likely think to yourself that the nose isn’t that terrible after all - and if it’s not terrible in your eyes, you’ll comprehend it cannot be much worse on others' eyes either.. … But I do understand; I have taken most of my pictures with the automatic launcher. I press the button and run and take a pose in 12 seconds, because if I have anyone helping me with the photo taking I’m all the time hysterically screaming “don’t you stare at me!” Did I lead myself into a trap with this writing? No. I claim there are many ways of looking, and most of the people look through “socially adequate” lenses concentrating on things like dressing, weight, body shape, skin and it’s imperfections, signs of wealth, age and so on – pressing all people through that particular mold, then subconsciously scoring their “victims”. I, of course hate those lenses, because through such glasses I’m an absolute loser! At my home those lenses are not in use – unless it’s a requirement of the model. I’m just after a cool picture – and a cool picture can be taken with belly blubber, pimples, and clothes from second hand store as well as (no better no worse) to an extrem trimmed body, botox forehead and boutique frock. I’m trying to say here that people coming to have their picture taken are “safe” with me looking just the way they are. … Of course there have been occasions and will be, when a person has in a bigmouth manner proclaimed that I’m free to do what ever with them, and then the picture turns out “bad” in their eyes, or the person tells me that they look like a “swine”... ha-haa – if there is any chance that you might see yourself as a swine (I do not see swine in people!) photographed from a certain angle or colored in some other color than skin color, then you should hold to joint-projects and give me no bigger role than of a humble servant.
